Reservation terms & cancellation policy

Booking & payment

Book online any time. Your card is charged as soon as you reserve. If you reserve every cabin for one or more nights, we require full, nonrefundable payment at booking and we'll call to confirm your plans.

Check-in & check-out

• Check-in is between 4 PM and 8:30 PM. No early check-ins.
• Check-out is 11 AM sharp. No late check-outs. We need time to clean before the next guests arrive.
• Arriving after the Lodge closes? Email us ahead of time and we'll leave your key under the mat.
• Booked a wedding? Cabins aren't ready before 4 PM.
• Park one car behind your cabin. Any others go out front.

Guests, pets & smoking

• Small cabins hold up to 2 people, large cabins up to 4. Extra guests or loud partying means we'll ask you to leave without a refund.
• Pets can stay in your cabin for a $200 fee, but aren't allowed on the rest of the property. If we find an unregistered pet, we'll charge $200 to your card.
• Please tell us if a service dog is joining you.
• No smoking of any kind in the cabins. A minimum $200 charge applies for smoking, spills, damage or excessive dirt.

Fires, cooking & bears

• We don't supply firewood and there's none for sale up here. Pick some up at a market or hardware store before the hill. Smaller pieces burn best. No pressed logs.
• Fires are for cold winter months only. Please skip the fire in hot weather or when the wind is howling.
• No cooking stoves, barbecues or gas lanterns anywhere on the property.
• Bears are very active and can open car doors. Never leave food in your car or outside your cabin. Bring your ice chest inside and lock up.

Around the property

• All alcohol must be bought at the Lodge, except what you drink inside your cabin.
• No outside food or drink in the backyard, except water. No glass outside; we'll pour it into plastic for you.
• No ice chests behind the Lodge. One inside your cabin is fine.
• Summer afternoons at the pool can be noisy. Cabin 8 sits next to the patio, where people eat until 9 PM.
• It's the mountains: please don't sleep on the floor.

Ski resort operations

Mt Baldy Lodge reservations are separate from Mt Baldy Resort. Lodge stays can't be cancelled or refunded because of ski resort closures, limited operations, weather or lack of snow, including when skiing or snowboarding isn't available. By confirming your reservation, you agree that your stay is independent of ski resort operations.
